Altmeyer Funeral Homes help support communities affected by Hurricane Florence - WTRF

(WTRF) - Altmeyer Funeral Homes of the Upper Ohio Valley is working with Warrior Family Ministries to support those affected by Hurricane Florence by accepting donations.Their funeral home in Wilmington survived the storm, but their community is in desperate need of help.They will be accepting donations of bottled water and cleaning supplies Monday, September 24th through Friday, September 28th 9 am - 3 pm.Altmeyer Funeral Home Outreach Director & Life Celebrant, Sarah Barickman said, "We're hoping for about $5,000, but again we'll take $100, we'll take $5. We'll take anything anybody is willing to give because as we said they are going to be feeling this damage for a long time and anything that we can send down there is going to be greatly appreciated, I know."
